Holy Gucamole, its August! Did I really make my last
post in May? Ok so here is the run down; boys turn 3! The are now wearing 5-6 T! We got a kitty cat from the pound named Woody he is super cute don't have picture yet give me 3 months ( Ha ha) We had a very fun filled summer. We went to D-land, Utah, Fresno, Vegas and Temecula all to visit family and Friends. These are just some of the pictures from our Utah trip. We went bowling for the first time with the Wallace fam who came down and met us in Utah, went to a creeping muesum with tons of dead dear heads on the walls, the boys kept asking where their feet were, went hiking up sundance with my the boys Great grandpa who sadly was wipping my but on the hike and went to a cute farm with leila and shane. I am not back at work, so I 'll seee you in another 3 months! Love all you lots!

Jet and Dane miss Leila and ask for her everyday, we tell them she's in Idaho and its a long drive, so now everytime we get in the car they say go to Idaho long drive, if they only knew how long it really is - they can't even drive to the store without fighting, yelling or me having to turn around 100 times and tell them to knock it off!

Ok so i suck at blogging, i forgot my password so its been a while. Anyways just want to say that life has not been the same for us RICKS since the Wallaces left us. However I am so greatful for their freindship and love and miss them like crazy. So here's sending our love and luck to Idaho!

We had community helpers in my classroom and so I have a variety of people come in and talk about their jobs to the students. My favorite was my principals brother who wrote the song " Ive had the time of my life" from the awesome movie dirty dancing. He won a Grammy for it and has written over 4000 songs. He was super fun to meet and even cooler we all got to hold the real- deal. Its a lot heavier than it looks.

I have been very busy being a mom of twin wild childs and a very involved teacher with far too many meetings. However I have played hookey and gone to the Natural History Muesum- Loved it reccommend it to everyone who loves Dinosaurs, the snow with the Clarks my kids do not like snow, they went up & down the hill once and then played in the car the rest of the time, Disney Land one last time before our passess expired, Vasquez Rocks with my wonderful, fun sister in laws Cali and Kiki and we were visted by Scott's baby sister all the way from China ( yes i said that right) Caryln.

Sometimes I don't know where I get my energy from especailly now that I'm no longer a diet cokaholic. Anyways yesterday was crazy to say the least. The boys got into the fridge and attempted to pour the OJ into their sippies ( there goes 5 gallons of OJ down the drain) Next while I was cleaning up OJ mess they reached ( still amazed they reached it) our dominos pizza dinner and ate almost the enitre box ( at least it was thin crust veggie). Then since they were a sticky stinky mess they got naked and ran around the couch jumping 5 feet in the air like flying monkeys. I swear they were possessed. During Bath time Jet was annoyed with me as you can see in the picture because I wouldn't let him pour milk in the bath and make it soup. We made a compromise and I just gave him a spoon. Anyways when scott's at work they sleep with me but as you can see in the picture they sleep on me. Scott took this picture cause he thinks its hilarous that we have a king size bed and 3 of us share one pillow. Ahh now I would like to go and relax in front of the boob tube but Dane threw our TIVO $50.00 remote into the toliet... all in a days work!!!!!

The Winter Break is my favorite time of year because we get to play games with our cousins, visit and catch up with friends and family, go to Disney Land and watch the boys excitement over their new toys. This year they got a Giagantic Thomas Train set it is so much fun. I am so greatful for all the Good Times we had this year!

Wow is it already 2009? When did Christmas pass? I can never keep up. Just want to wish everyone a very Healthy and FUN New Year . My computer is not having a good year and crashed already so pictures will be posted soon. In the mean time so far I have gone cold turkey on keeping my New Years Resolution which is getting off Diet COKE! I was an Diet cokeaholic and after a few days of headaches and withdraws I am clean!! Yippie. Wish me luck in staying clean! Ha ha!

Daunting December

Is it just me or does December seeem like a super crazy time? I mean I love it but i alwasy feel like there is jsut too much to do. Wrapping presents, making goody plates, shopping, making christmas cards, planning work chirstmas party and christmas crafts for my class, submitting final grades for both of my jobs, AHHHH Whew... looks like i need to stop blogging and start working!

Ok so I know its not Halloween anymore but that's how long its been since I've posted. I'm just too darn busy with 2 very demanding jobs and 3 very demanding boys ( yes I included scott) so anyways I just wanted to show everyone how awesome a job my dad does at Halloween decorating and creating the yard into a fright fest. The new addition this year was a crypt he built. The boys thought everything was cool even my creepy dad as the gargoyle. They weren't to sure about wes in the troll face shaggy body thing but we had fun eating candy! Oh and look at all my beautiful friends at our Halloween party we had this year. It was crazy but always wonderful to see everyone.

Scott has been busy riding the Ferris Wheel of Life going around and around every day taking extra great care of the wild children.

Our Family has been busy riding the largest land animal on EARTH, Dixie the chevron company picnic Elephant.

I have been Busy playing Dress up with Amber. We are the next "Girls Next Door!"

The cowboys have been playing their guitar naked and riding their pony. WHAT could be better. Look out Kenny Chesnsy here come the next country music stars.

NEW BIG BOY ROOM

Since the boys love anything with wheels we did a car/truck room, They love their new big boy beds and their flags w/ their names on them ( thanks pottery barn). Their bedding my mom got for them at home goods, they are actually a sleeping bag which is awesome cause there is no bed to make and they just ZIP right in. Oh and yes sometimes we go in at night and their snuggled up in the same bed.

So on Monday I have to go back to work! I am dreading it because I love being at stay at home MOM ( even those my boys are maniacs). BUT, working means I can provided for my family and we can spend 200 bucks at costco to feed, and diaper the Beastly boys! When I was a little girl I used to dread when my DAD left for work and he used to sing me this little song, " Gotta Go to work to get some money....to buy some TOYS" I loved it and better understood why my DAd had to work. I am going to start to sing it to my boys on Monday morning before i leave. I hope they have fond memories of that special little tune like i do.

We went to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. The boys ran through the whole thing screaming FISH in about 5 minutes. Scott was a bird man there, the birds just flocked to him. We had the boys ELMO themed party, with homemade elmo face cupcakes and a pinata to top it off. The last pic Scott said I should title MILF. Which If you don't know what it means ( ask me)- its a huge compliment in a funny sort of way. I would have to agree I have pretty freaking HOT friends.

Yippie summer is here! Let's all get together!! All right here's a little of what I've been up to lately....Made 100% organic homemade turkey meatloaf, asparagus and red potatoes. VERY Big deal for me-cause A Princess Never cooks!!!Went to the Noah's Ark exhibit at the Skirball -its awesome your kids will all love it. Oh and I got pulled over twice- Scott got pulled over and get out of it- the truck got towed and we got in a fight with the neighbor! Whew... June is a cursed month for us and will be glad when its over.

My last Friend from Jr. High ( besides susan who is a nun) Nikki Bachman got married this weekend. It was a fun and beautiful wedding. I just loved her dress, scott and I met a lot of new people and we ate fillet mignon, creme burlie and the most yummy cake ever. Thanks Nikki and Spencer for the FUN!

My parent's turned 50, my brother 24 I had my 28th birthday and mothers day, I took my mom to see wicked, We are going to a big wedding for my last high school friend NIkki Bachman, Scott's entire fam flew in from Washington, Utah and China for the most important thing of MAY SCOTT GRADUATED from CSUN. Travel town is awesome if you love trains! Its also awesome because everything is FREE except the train ride which is only 2.50 and worth it. But, you can climb in old trains watch mini ones and play. We had tons of fun, its right down the street from the LA zoo. CHU CHU ALL Aboard the CHU CHU train ALL Aboard!

We flew to Utah for Scottie's mama's wedding,( i do not recommend flying with 2 crazy children)-Scott got to see his sis Kiersten who he has not seen in 3 years the boys call her kiki which is so cute. Anyways we went sledding ( the boys hated it) and to the BYU creamery cause scott had never been, the boys loved that of course! They sat still watched the college students and demolished every last bite of Ice cream. YUMMY!

Disney Land

We went to Disney Land with Scott's Dad who is visiting us from China. It was a rainy cold day and I had to change the boys clothes 2 times! Tonight while I was in the kitchen, i heard hysterics, I went to see what all the giggles were about when Dane ran out of my room with my old bathing suit top on. He kept rubbing it( guess he likes the smooth material) and laughing and Jet had my bottoms and kept asking me please. It would have been a fun dress up night however i left them cause i figured they couldn't do any harm pulling all my clothes out of the drawers when I heard a snap. Yep! They climbed into the draw and snapped the bottom of it. WOOD GLUE ANYONE???

As many of you know I grew up in a house with vacuum lines always in the carpet. I swore that would never be me and I would never Vacuum. However, I am more like my clean freak mom than I think. The other night we took out the vacuum and put popcorn on the floor and i taught the boys how to clean it up. They thought it was funny to throw food on the ground and then watch it get sucked up into a magical vortex of vacuuming!
